Benefits of Trees - part 2

Save Wildlife

Trees serve as vital sources of food, shelter and breeding grounds. They are essential for the survival of moths, birds, bats, dormice, butterflies, fungi and many other species, providing places to feed, breed and thrive. Trees are also used by various animals as resting spots and hunting grounds, and they offer shade from the sun. Among UK native trees, Oak trees support more life than any other species.

Even when a tree is dead or dying, they continue to support life, hosting beetles, worms, centipedes and more. Whenever possible JH Tree Services will leave logs from removed trees in habitat piles to sustain wildlife for longer.
